Serial Thriller was a steel rollercoaster in the Nottingham Village section of Six Flags AstroWorld. It opened in 1999 and closed in 2005. It is now at La Ronde. This would be the park's last rollercoaster.



History[]

The ride first opened on May 29, 1999. The coaster it was placed on the former spot of Excalibur. After AstroWorld's closure, the coaster was put into storage at the Great Escape for four years. It then reopened at LaRonde in 2010 where it now operates as "Ednor-L'Attaque" which is just "Ronde" spelled backwards. Its supporters have been repainted from teal to a yellow scheme.

Trivia[]

  • There was also another Vekoma SLC that had the same color scheme named Serial Thriller at another defunct Six Flags park named Geauga Lake.
